Hádaly se převelice,
na dvorečku dvě slepice.
O pár zrnek pšenice,
popraly se velice.

Kohout spory urovnává,
zrníčka jim sezobává.
A tak milé slepice,
přišly o hrst pšenice.

Proč jsme sobě peří rvaly,
když jsme zrní nezobaly.
Teď mě mrzí nejvíce,
že jsme hloupé slepice.

Kohout hlavou pokyvuje,
potom slípky informuje.
Slípka horší kačeny,
urážkou jste pro ženy.
