V Česku přibyla další dvě vlčí teritoria. Je jich 24 a v polovině se narodila mláďata

Na území Česka podle údajů z loňska zasahovalo 24 vlčích teritorií, o dvě víc než o rok dřív. Nové oblasti výskytu vlků dobrovolníci z Hnutí Duha Šelmy zjistili v Orlických horách a Českém lese. Nejméně v polovině teritorií se vlkům narodila mláďata, o čemž informovalo Hnutí Duha Šelmy, které se sledováním šelem v divoké přírodě v ČR zabývá jako pobočný spolek ekologické organizace Hnutí Duha.

Údaje se vztahují k takzvanému vlčímu roku 2020/2021, což zahrnuje období od května 2020 do konce loňského dubna. Takové období lépe než kalendářní rok odpovídá rozmnožovacímu cyklu vlků, jejichž mláďata se většinou rodí v dubnu. Některá z teritorií zasahovala do Česka jen nepatrně. V 18 případech šlo o smečky, ve čtyřech případech o vlčí pár a ve dvou o teritoriální jedince. Smečky obvykle čítají čtyři až šest vlků.

Narození vlčat fotomonitoring Hnutí Duha Šelmy potvrdil zatím u 12 teritorií v osmi různých oblastech ČR. V některých dalších teritoriích rozmnožení vlků zjistili jiní zoologové, například ze správ chráněných území. »Společné výsledky potvrzují trend z posledních let, kdy se vlci stále šíří do dalších oblastí,« uvedl vedoucí programu Šelmy v Hnutí Duha a akademický pracovník Mendelovy univerzity v Brně Miroslav Kutal.

Hnutí Duha Šelmy na webu každoročně aktualizuje mapu teritorií vlka obecného v Česku. »Nově se oproti předešlému roku potvrdila rozmnožující se smečka v Orlických horách, jedno teritorium navíc bylo díky genetickým analýzám odlišeno také v Českém lese,« uvedlo. Nejčastěji se do Česka dostávají vlci ze severu, ze středoevropské nížinné populace, jejíž centrum je v západním Polsku a v Německu. Na Moravu a do Slezska vlci přicházejí ze slovenských a polských Karpat.

Mapa vychází z prokázaných případů rozmnožování vlků, doložených fotopastmi nebo genetickou analýzou, případně z opakovaných věrohodných nálezů stop a trusu. Nezahrnuje naopak údaje o nahodilém pozorování samostatných vlků. Kutal upozornil na to, že mapa nemusí podchytit všechna teritoria, která vznikla. »Naše kapacity pro monitoring jsou omezené a zvlášť mimo chráněná území nebo tam, kde nevznikají škody na hospodářských zvířatech, může přítomnost vlků ujít pozornosti. Uvítáme proto hlášení o výskytu vlků i od veřejnosti na e-mail stopy@selmy.cz,« řekl Kutal.

Vlk v Orlických horách

Na Moravě a ve Slezsku se letos vlčata narodila ve čtyřech smečkách. Zdokumentovat se je dobrovolníkům podařilo kromě Slezských Beskyd také v Javorníkách a ve dvou smečkách, které se pohybují v oblasti Moravskoslezských Beskyd. Potřetí po sobě se rozmnožila smečka v Orlických horách. Na Broumovsku se vlčata narodila ve všech třech tamních teritoriích. »Potřetí v řadě se podařilo terénním mapovatelům potvrdit reprodukci v Lužických horách. Šestým rokem se rozmnožila i smečka na Šluknovsku,« uvedlo Hnutí Duha Šelmy.

V Krušných horách se mláďata potvrdila u tří smeček. Vlci pohybující se na Kokořínsku a v oblasti Ralska se podle dostupných informací druhým rokem za sebou nerozmnožili. Podle hnutí je možné, že do struktury smečky zasáhlo pytláctví, protože předloni se na Kokořínsku našla zastřelená vlčice.

»V sezoně 2020/2021 jsme geneticky zpracovali přes 400 vzorků vlků z území ČR, což je více než dvojnásobný nárůst oproti předchozímu období. Tento nárůst není způsoben přibýváním vlků, protože máme jen o dvě teritoria více než dřív, ale zintenzivněním genetického monitoringu v rámci několika nových projektů. Opět se prokázalo, že u nás nevznikají kříženci vlků se psy, podařilo se přesněji zmapovat teritoria i původ solitérních jedinců a získat řadu dalších informací o vlčí populaci,« Pavel Hulva akademický pracovník Přírodovědecké fakulty Univerzity Karlovy, zodpovědný za genetický monitoring vlka.

Vlk v Lužických horách 2020

Hnutí Duha Šelmy zmínilo útoky vlků na hospodářská zvířata na Moravě a ve Slezsku a také na Broumovsku, kde chovatelé požadují snížení počtu vlků. Podle některých tamních farmářů proti vlkům nefungují žádná preventivní opatření, žádají stát o náhrady za hlídače a údržbu ohradníků. Hnutí Duha Šelmy proti tomu uvedlo, že část chovatelů na Broumovsku už svá stáda proti útokům zabezpečila tak, že škody způsobené vlky významně klesly.

Na monitoringu a terénním výzkumu se podíleli Hnutí DUHA Olomouc, Mendelova univerzita v Brně, Česká zemědělská univerzita v Praze, Správa národního parku Šumava a Agentura ochrany přírody a krajiny České republiky. Přeshraniční teritoria byla konzultována s polským sdružením WILK, partnery projektu OWAD ze Saska a Správou Národního parku Bavorský les. Genetické analýzy prováděla Přírodovědecká fakulta Univerzity Karlovy, Česká zemědělská univerzita a CEwolf konsorcium.
